Prayer & Praise Updates

“Show me your ways, O Lord, teach me your paths; guide me in the truth and teach me,
for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.”

Bill asked that we pray for a family member who has been struggling with alcohol and chemical dependence. Pray that Ken is strengthened in this battle of the flesh.

Candy’s friend Leslie has a special request for prayer this week.  Leslie suffers from chronic pain and anxiety disorder. Pray for her strength in the absence of her primary support.

Jane asks that we pray for her friend Nancy who has come to live with her following a recent divorce.  Pray that Nancy is comforted in this difficult trial.

Emily reports praise for Toni’s successful hip replacement surgery last week.  Pray for Toni’s husband, Ace, who will undergo Carpel Tunnel surgery this week.

Rick asks that we continue to lift their son-in-law Jeremy in prayer this week as he celebrates his first birthday and anniversary following the passing of his wife, Abby.  Pray for comfort for Jeremy and also for Rick and Barbara this week.

Barry asked that we pray for peace in the hearts of their relatives Steve and Pat.

Dave requested that we pray for the family of one of his friends who was killed in a car/bicycle accident this week.  Pray for his wife and children as they mourn the loss of their husband and father.

Jana reminds us to continue to pray for our servicemen and women.

Bill reminds us to pray for those that are unemployed. Pray for work for their hands and encouragement in their job searches.

Candy asks that we lift those who are recovering from last week’s tropical storm Irene.

Linda reminds us to lift the families of those who lost loved ones in the 9/11 tragedy 10 years ago next week.

Lindsay and Gregg remind us to thank God for His faithfulness in our trials as they have experienced this grace first hand.

Ryan thanks God for His creation.

Tim & Diane W’s daughter, Denna, who continues to battle numerous health issues. Pray for relief from the pain and a healing of her body.

Prayer was requested for the Bogan family in the loss of their son, Willie, who drowned last week.

Pray for Chris B as he sees another doctor regarding his hip. He has had problems with it since the surgery.

Diane W requested prayer for a girlfriend’s daughter and her husband, Julie & Mark.

Chris requested prayer for his son Patrick, as he seeks a renter for their home which is on the market.
