Diane W’s friend recently came through surgery well. Also, her neighbor Leeann continues to receive chemotherapy.
Tim W received an “all clear” report on his recent CAT scan. Praise the Lord. Pray for Tim as he prepares for a knee replacement; scheduled for early October. Diane added one more; pray for a friend, Julie who is due to give birth to twin boys on October 8.
Sue K requested prayer for her mom, Edna, who has now entered hospice care. Pray for the family as they journey these difficult days together. Pray for peace, mercy and grace to envelope the family.
Duane asked for prayer for a new business venture he is undertaking.
Laura asked for prayer for her cousin, Becky, who will be having a full mastectomy on Sept. 11.
Wayne and Joanne requested prayer for their niece, Sue, who has received her termination notice from her employer after 31 years of faithful service.
This Labor Day weekend we pray for those who are seeking employment- may God grant them the provision of work.
Florio asks that we continue to remember our men and women of the Armed Forces this week. Pray for protection for those serving to protect our freedom.
Hurricane Isaac had devastating effects on many this past week. Libby asked that we pray for those whose lives were significantly impacted by this storm.
Praise God for the continuing work He is doing in bringing healing to Tanner C. Debbie reported that she is in a care facility that is able to help her heal following her recent disappearance and subsequent discovery in a Chicago hospital. Pray that her healing continues.
Vic asked us to pray for a fellow boater who recently discovered a tumor and is waiting for a diagnosis. Pray for a favorable outcome of the tests and for peace and comfort for our anonymous friend regardless of the test results.
Pray for Vic and Kay’s daughter and Leah’s Mom, Amy. Amy has been in a wheelchair since an accident 10 years ago resulted in fractured vertebrae and a spinal cord injury. Pray for healing and relief of the pain that Amy has been suffering. Pray for wisdom for the doctors as they evaluate potential treatment plans.
Sharon requests prayer for our children. Many of our adult children are facing difficult life circumstances. Pray that God guides them through the turbulent waters that they face.
Pray for the management and staff of Southport Marina, we have been blessed by their generosity in allowing the Marina Church to meet in their facility again this season.
