Chris & Patti Booth – Founders

The Booths founded the Marina Ministry organization in 1989 at Reefpoint Marina in Racine, Wisconsin.

Impassioned with reaching souls for Christ, they conducted the first marina service with only a few mariners in attendance.

Today, many attendees join in fellowship each Sunday to worship, hear God’s word and earnestly pray for one another – even throughout the week!

Their vision is for many marinas throughout Lake Michigan to form on-site marina nondenominational church services to reach souls for Christ – one heart at a time!

Mike & Shannon Clancy
Mike – Sr. Pastor, Southport Marina
Shannon – Worship Leader
Kenosha Campus

Mike serves as the senior Pastor and Shannon adds another dimension to the worship portion of our services in Southport. She links scripture and music lyrics together in an effort to open our hearts as we praise our King, Jesus Christ.

Shannon’s percussionist and daughter, Jenna often accompanies her playing bongos!

Jeff (Susan) Burke
Reefpoint Worship Leader
Racine Campus

Jeff’s music ministry reaches the hearts of our church “family” as he shares his own compositions along with worship songs in contemporary style. Jeff performs many of his favorite self-accompanied songs on his new CD available to you by sending a request via his email.

During the boating season, Jeff serenades Susan almost every evening while watching sunsets from the back of their boat!

Every Sunday service is concluded with singing Jeff’s rendition of “Hand It Over”.

Wayne & (Joanne) Behrens
Teaching Pastor

Wayne has been an incredible addition to our teaching staff and has been leading the Ministry’s prayer support efforts. He contacts those desiring pastoral counseling and has visited families, diligently praying and leading many to accepting the saving Grace of God.

Daron & Judy Mackey
Service Administrators/Hosts
Racine Campus

Daron and Judy exemplify a model of serving with sacrificing hearts. They not only help prepare our location for the Sunday services, but they also serve as ambassadors by personally greeting each attendee and encouraging interaction during our coffee-social time before each service.

Daron opens each service with warm greetings an antidotes appropriate for the message.

The Makeys are avid snow skiers, scuba divers, bike riders and model railroad enthusiasts!

Duane & Erika Careb
Teaching Pastor/ Web Administrator

Although Duane and Erika have exchanged their boat for a “land yacht” (RV), they continue to be avid supporters and contributors to the Marina Ministry Association.

Duane serves this ministry as a teaching Pastor and web administrator of our site.

The Carebs are founders of the RVchurchesUSA (.org) Association, a Christian content ministry offering resources for RVers and campground owners to help grow their personal faith-walk with Jesus Christ.
